Initially scan is done on day three of the menstrual cycle. Hormonal  assessment is done and injections are started for a period of 10 to 12 days. Pick up is done under short  general anaesthesia.The patient can get discharged the same day. Embryo transfer does not require any anaesthesia.

Embryo transfer is done between 17th day to 20th day of the cycle. Endoscopy plays a very important role both in the diagnosis and management of infertile couples. Laparoscopy is combined with hysteroscopy to assess the uterus, the tubes, ovaries and the relationship of this in the pelvis. Hysteroscopy is done to assess any abnormalities in the uterine cavity. If there are any abnormalities found in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, they can be treated in the same sitting.
